We are excited for you to join us for a worship service! Our weekly gatherings are characterized by an eagerness to connect with our holy God through truth, worship, community, and mission.
The content of the gospel shapes our services. Each week, as we gather for corporate worship, we celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ with a four-fold order of service:
1) Praise to God
2) Confession of Sin and Thanksgiving
3) Bible-Centered Teaching
4) Response to The Word.
The preaching at SHBC is expositional, meaning that it declares the point of a particular biblical passage and then seeks to apply that truth to our lives. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
